Have you recently accepted a University place in Scotland and looking for a club to play for? Are you about to graduate from your University course, looking to stay in Scotland and looking for a hockey club to play for? Uddingston Hockey Club is situated on the outskirts of Glasgow, and are looking for new members to play at the club, from club social members to performance players. Both of our 1st teams compete in the Scottish Premiership for both Indoor and Outdoor, and our 2s through to our 5s compete in Scottish Leagues and the West District Leagues. We strive for excellence in all we do, and so introduced these Performance Scholarships to support talented athletes and retain them in Scottish Hockey. The Scholarships cover education, finance, coaching, work placements and potential long-term employment to help our athletes focus on hockey and improve the domestic game quality in Scotland. As well as a reputation for path finding excellence, at Uddingston we have a history of doing things differently and are passionate about supporting promising athletes during their time with us. We have three hockey scholarship packages as well as range of specialist options available. Please note any support services would be decided on a case by case basis with no values given here, as there are no barriers to support since every case will require specific services and tailored to suit the athlete.

Hockey Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for a hockey scholarship you must: be of national or international standard hockey player or show strong evidence of future outstanding potential. Be a UK resident or have a suitable visa to allow this while completing your education. International students are most welcome.
